Grouping and control for light emitting objects

While building a map for a haunted mansion, I came with the idea of the mansion appearing normal during day, but being obviously haunted at night, my means of doing so are to have torches, pit fires and other light sources being regular yellow/red during the day, but becoming bluish at night.

Currently I have to do this manually for every single light source, which is tedious and slow, so if we could select multiple items and group them so that they share common controllers.

This could be useful as for having multiple light sources switching from off to on, or changing color. Also, this feature could be usefull for other things as well, like selecting multiple doors and switching them between hidden doors to unhidden, or either doors or other objets switching from open to close.
