Quick Duplicate (Alt+Drag)

Like many creative programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve and even map making websites such as Inkarnate use this keyboard shortcut.

Alt+Drag will take the object you clicked on, and where it's being dragged to is where a duplicate of that item will show up.

Compared to our current duplicate tool, where we have to select the object, press the duplicate button, then hold shift and place it, and then select a new item and do it again for each replication…

This method allows you to simply hold Alt, click and drag and whatever object, whether it's previously selected or not, drags and duplicates.

It's a staple feature in creative software because it's a MASSIVE QOL time saver, as right-clicking into a context menu and hitting duplicate, then dragging it into place is very counter-intuitive.

While DA currently has a fairly effective duplicate, with grid snapping, this would be the perfect shortcut for the faster method.
