the token models don't work with snow as they get snowed over, and there also isn't any option to select what areas are snowed over and what areas aren't, which causes snow maps to be an "all or nothing" situation where you have no real control over what you add. It could be good to add a feature where you can toggle whether or not an item is effected by snow, and also have snow act similarly to ground textures with how it can be applied or removed from specific areas.
It never made much sense for why a cave should have as much snow as an open field..
