Wood and Stone Type Customization

Would be awesome to be able to change the type of wood and stone in buildings. For wood, I could see varieties that are mossy, scorched, fungal, frostbitten, and mildewing, along with things like birch, pine, and funky wood colors.
For stone, things like limestone, basalt, or granite would be useful. Maybe stone that also has ripples of gold, ice, magic, or magma.
