Workflow improvements for objects connected by Rope/Chain/Others

With the first part of the Fun with Objects update came a set of new systems.
A rework to objects that create rope like connections between themselves, giving us proper control of said connections. When making a single connection this system is fine, but when working at a large scale it becomes a very slow process.

Depending on what you're working with, it can look like this:

  • Place all the pillars/poles you need without connections.
    *- Click one.
  • Click the linking button.
  • If there's more than one linkable target, DA stutters for a second before displaying all of them in range.
  • Click the starting link you want to work with.
  • Click the destination link.
  • Click off the object because you can't deselect the current starting link.
  • Go back to step *two and repeat.

It becomes a very slow process, that's slown down even further by any misclicks since that implies undoing the links, so more clicking on and off objects and multiple UI elements.

So, the core of the request. I believe hotkeys would massively improve the workflow for these objects.

  • Maybe C (connect) and X (cut/eliminate)?
  • Press C after selecting an object that can be linked to instantly go into linking mode.
  • Press X while hovering over a linking icon to remove linked points.
  • Right click elsewhere to deselect the currently selected link.

As an additional thing that could help with that stutter every time the linking UI pops up, maybe clicking and holding from a link, then dragging onto the destination link (or rather where it would be expected to be) could be a fast way to make the connections without having to display every single link target in range.
