-crate/box/bin filled with dry/damp sand (for veggies)

-crate/box/bin filled with peat moss

-create/box/bin filled with saw dust

-crate/box/bin filled with straw (for eggs)

-slatted wooden crates (for aeration of veggies)

-stone trough filled with water (for leeks and celery or any water veggie; also for crocks that hold cream and milk(stone keeps it colder))

Dry larder items

-Braids of onions, garlic

-Bunches of sage, rosemary, lavender, thyme, marjoram, chamomile, mint, etc

-Apples,pears, plums threaded through their center, bunched up, and hung up to dry

-Slices of apples and pears threaded, bunched up, and hung up to dry

-smoked meats hanging from hooks

Root cellar

-Bins of damp sand (potatoes, turnips, and beets)

-Baskets of apples and pears

-Shallow wicker trays for root veggies (for aeration)

-Slatted shelves for pumpkins and squash (for aeration)

-Stone troughs filled with sand for root veggies

Pantry

-spice cabinet (each spice has a drawer; prevents cross-contamination )

Also if we could have room types centered around the different places food would be stored:

Wet larder:

-meat carcasses on hooks (closest to outer door)

-butchers table

-meat grinder

-sausage stuffer

-crocks in stone troughs for cream and milk

-crocks on the floor for butter

-other crocks on the floor for fermented foods

-leaks, celery, other water veggies in stone trough

-eggs in crate filled with straw

Dry larder

-Bins of salted meats

-Cured meats/Sausages/smoked meats hanging to dry

-Crocks/tubs of tallow and lard

-Shelves of packaged bundles for other meat products

-Drying/hanging herbs and fruits

-Shelves of cheese

-Shelves of crocks/jars of preserved fruits

-Freshly made pies

Root cellar

-Bundles of onions and garlic hanging from the rafters

-Gourds on slatted shelves

-Baskets of apples and pears

-Bins of sand/peat moss/sawdust for root veggies
